Many older stave silos are
in the need of having the steel hoops replaced. Hoops can be missing,
corroded, or damaged in a manner that can affect the structural
integrity of a silo. Marietta Silos personnel have vast experience in
removing an d
replacing these steel hoops by rehooping. Older stave silos can regain their full
storage capacity by having a full complement of new steel hoops
installed. Sometimes just a few new hoops can be installed to replace
damaged or neglected hoops. After the hoops are installed a special
waterproof coating may be applied to insure long term durability of the
hoops.
